Helen Spitsyna

8th Grade Home Room Teacher

Mrs. Spitsyna graduated from Mykolaiv State University in Ukraine, earning a Bachelor and Specialist degree in Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education with a strong focus on languages, including English language, Foreign Literature, and Ukrainian language and Literature.

With over 13 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Spitsyna has dedicated her career to inspiring and educating students. A particular joy for Mrs. Spitsyna is witnessing the amazement and surprise on children’s faces as they discover something new. Being the guide for these moments of discovery is a cherished aspect of her teaching approach.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Spitsyna loves spending time with animals, whether it's visiting zoos and farms or simply feeding ducks at the park. When asked what she is passionate about, she answered “school supplies and kid’s books design.”

Mrs. Spitsyna is a strong supporter of Adventist Education and is excited to teach students from diverse backgrounds. This year, Mrs. Spitsyna looks forward to building strong friendships with fellow teachers and getting to know students at KSDA, fostering an environment where everyone can share and strengthen new aspects of Jesus' life together.
